Important ECA and ASC member update – please read

UNISON EMAS has today issued an important update to members by text and email regarding the latest outcome from the Put Our Banding Right campaign.

The update includes information for Emergency Care Assistants and Ambulance Support Crews about the creation of the new Band 4 Emergency Ambulance Associate role, due to be introduced from 1 August 2026.

Members are strongly encouraged to read the full communication and ensure they are aware of the latest position.
